How life has shaped me on my journey…
Private, Personal & Professional
The most important values in my work are authenticity, integrity, and transparency. I would therefore like to take you on a little journey into my life story.
We can only guide and hold space for others as deeply as we can go ourselves… That's why it's important for me to take my own medicine – and walk my own talk… as they say.
From here, several different paths open up into the narrative... how deep must we go?
Dear reader, do you perhaps merely wish to know what my professional background is, and which certificates I can show to justify my work?
Or would you like to get a little closer under my skin, and get a feel for my lived life experience, which has activated the wisdom that flows through my communication? Many people feel a strong sense of recognition with my words when they lean into my stream of guidance and communication… I wonder why?
Perhaps you want to get to the very core and understand my deepest childhood trauma? Do you want to get a sense of what life has played out for me, to push me hard into the darkness to reclaim my power and teach me to heal myself and shine my most vulnerable and authentic light in the world?
I will share my story below, which most would call private, personal, and professional. I'll start from the top, at the superficial level with the professional exterior version of myself… and from there I'll dive deeper. You can choose for yourself how deep you want to travel down into my darkness – which suddenly turned into my light! I have nothing to hide… because life has taught me that the truth truly sets me FREE!
Perhaps something within you will also be set free, simply by joining me on my journey and letting yourself be reflected in my story…
Quote from the 12-step programme:
”You are only as sick as your secrets”
Over the years, I have chosen to refer to myself as Shamanistic Consciousness Therapist, As a unified umbrella description, for my entire inner deep toolbox, which sticks out in many different directions.
I am originally trained Outdoor education teacher, from which I have a bachelor's degree. Before I landed in the educational field, I had completed half of a banking apprenticeship. However, I dropped out as I felt completely uninspired, even though I found it easy to work with numbers and accounts, and I've also worked as a bookkeeper and a controller assistant on several occasions.
When my personal development process began, and after my first development course with a coach, I chose to start at Vadum Dahl Institute and take a 2-year Life Coach Training. From there I continued on the first 2-year Spiritual ID Mentor course, and in the following years became an assistant on the subsequent mentoring courses. I spent a total of 8 years at the institute and have gained a solid foundation within the best possible framework.
My last job before I went self-employed was a 4-year employment with SamFocus. I was a Mentor for citizens on the margins of the labour market. My speciality became those with the most difficult diagnoses, who often suffered from severe anxiety.
After my father's death, I was called deeper into shadow work and Shamanic work. I went to Bali in 2019 and trained.
Shamanic Yoga Teacher – Vinyasa and restorative yoga
I have completed my first SHIP – Shamanic Healing Initiatory Process
In the years since 2019, I have continued working with Venus Rising and qualified as Shamanic Breathwork Facilitator. After several years of many ceremonies and hands-on work, I took their MA program and became Master Teacher – and has now been specially selected as a trainee in their Satellite programme, where I will teach SHIP in Denmark going forward.
Let me take you a step deeper… behind the professional exterior and the titles!
I have always been a very sensitive soul. It has simply taken me many years to understand that not everyone was as sensitive as I am. I grew up with my parents and my older brother. I was absolutely a wanted child, but my mother became seriously ill just around the time of my birth. My early childhood and attachment therefore happened in a family in crisis, which forms the entire foundation and understanding of who I have been shaped into.
My entire childhood revolved around a reality with a seriously ill mother who became severely disabled. She was in a wheelchair throughout my childhood and was admitted to hospital periodically for long periods. My mother began to get ill around the time of my birth in 1979. However, it wasn't until 1982 that she was diagnosed with the rare autoimmune muscle disease Myasthenia Gravis.
It is a very debilitating illness and naturally meant that the first three years of my life were heavily marked by insecure circumstances. Initially, they couldn't diagnose her and considered her hysterical. My brother is three years older than me and had a more natural start to life with young parents. But when I was born, the harsh reality began. Throughout my childhood, it became a conviction in my young mind that I was the one who had brought the illness to my mother, and I vowed that I had to make her well again. A firm wish in a little girl's mind, every time one could ”wish” for something.
In total, for 6 years of my childhood, my mother was periodically admitted to Odense University Hospital, and my father (who had himself been a neglected child) believed that the most important thing a family can do is stick together. It therefore became a firm routine that we visited her every evening during all her admissions, even though we had to drive 70 km each way from Kolding to Odense. The hospital became like a second home to us, and we celebrated birthdays and holidays in the patient's room. My brother and I have ridden an infinite number of kilometres on scooters in the corridors of the hospital. Perhaps because the staff observed us and tried to sweeten our existence a little during difficult times.
It was only many years later, when I became a young mother to a little boy at the age of 23, that my personal development journey began. As you can probably gather, my entire upbringing was about adapting to any environment. Life naturally taught me to be very skilled at reading moods, expectations, and needs. I learned at a very early age that my very unpredictable world was safest when I acted as the sweet, quick-witted, helpful girl who anticipated everyone's unspoken needs. It came very naturally to me, and I was therefore perceived by everyone as such. That's where I gained my recognition…
Already at 25, I was a single mother, divorced, and severely traumatised. Motherhood and a difficult divorce had cracked my 'good girl' facade, and I was struggling. I was studying to be a pedagogical assistant, but was very close to giving up. This led to a pivotal conversation with my father, which I will never forget. Perhaps the only conversation of its kind with him in my entire life. He was worried about me and pointed out my pattern of finding it difficult to stick with things I started. Then he asked me what I really enjoyed doing. What I found fun. What I thought I was really good at.
I don't recall him ever asking me that before, and in a world where I had learned to adapt to survive, I had no idea what the answer was. I pondered it for a bit and then said that I was really good at being a good friend. I was good at listening to my friends” feelings and could always help them with care and kind words. My father responded, ”Perhaps you should talk to one of those coaches they use nowadays” – and then it just came out of me, ”No, Dad, I'm going to be a coach!" – and for the first time, I could feel something deep inside that felt truly real.
I myself started a development course with a Life Coach and encountered the concept of codependency for the first time. Her name was Lotte, and she saw right through me. A single session with her blew my world and my self-image apart. She could put words to me, calling me an ”antenna child”. She pointed out my ability to sense and feel everything around me. My tendency to give myself away just so everyone else was happy. My lack of sense of self, because I only tried to navigate the world by pleasing and satisfying others, so I could survive and feel good enough (gain recognition!).
She explained to me that as the child of a seriously ill mother, I never learned to put my own needs first. Because a member of the family had a need that was always greater and more important than mine. From this, we develop codependency, or dependency on another person's severe dependency. The same patterns develop, whether you are a relative of an addict, or a mentally or physically ill family member.
That day, my personal development journey began, and I came crashing down. Once we become aware of what's really going on, circumstances suddenly hit much harder, even though they've always been there. My previous pride in being such an ”aware” girl suddenly felt like a curse and a handicap. Back then, I didn't know that with time it would develop into my superpower :)
To cut a long story short… Everything in my life very quickly came to revolve around my personal healing, whilst I also had a small child to look after as a single student mother.
Once we truly embark on the conscious journey through life, it's as if life responds. I struggled with the anxiety of getting sick myself, like my mother did when she turned 30, just as she had. At the same time, I threw myself into a long-term relationship with a man who suffered from gambling addiction. I was allowed to experience the role of a co-dependent loved one up close. Life showed me how strongly these patterns had a hold on me, and that I couldn't just break free from them. It's a life journey…
At the age of 29, I started at Vadum Dahl Institute, which was then called ID Academy. As you can read above under my Professional work, I was trained as both an ID Life Coach and a Spiritual Mentor. It was an important eight-year period that has formed a strong foundation in my personal life and my professional career.
When I was around 34 years old, my father was diagnosed with cancer, which initiated another long, gruelling journey for all of us. Since my father had always been the breadwinner because my mother was ill, it caused significant psychological upheaval in the family. No one had dreamed that my mother would outlive my father. But she did, and he passed away at the end of 2018, after I had fallen deep into my old childhood patterns and completely given up on my own life. I took parental leave and cared for my father (and my mother) in their home for the final 6 months. It was extremely tough and terribly draining. On top of that, I was forced to undergo an abortion while my father was on his deathbed. The entire process was another profound catalyst for my own awakening and healing of unconscious patterns within myself. It ended up being a quantum leap for me on my own path of development.
A wild urge for liberation struck me shortly after his death. I received a strong calling to undergo a complete name change and threw myself over another cliff on my inner journey. At the same time, I felt a strong pull towards a trip to Bali, where a 6-week training program for Shamanic Yoga Teachers was being facilitated, with Shamanic Breathwork as part of the training. I turned 40 in Bali in April 2019 and went through a wild inner rebirth, which initiated a completely new path for me in life. Everything changed. Like the death of my old life and the start of a brand new chapter. For the rest of that year, I felt a huge ”wave” was coming in our world. I didn't know what it was I was feeling, but I received inner symbolic messages about ”Noah's Ark,” and the feeling that something big was going to hit us all.
After my process in Bali, my inner astrological intuitive eye and language had completely opened up, and I remember the great conjunction of Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn at the start of 2020 as very pivotal. I intuitively knew that now, ”it was on”... And indeed... the Corona wave hit the entire world. It became my higher calling to step forward. As if my soul pushed me onto the stage, gave me a microphone, and said, ”There, now it's you!”
I started sharing my interpretations of time on videos. First on Facebook – then on YouTube. I was petrified in the early years. It was so anxiety-inducing for me, and I had to go through my own intense inner discomfort, fear of reactions, and an upset stomach many times when I had published a video. But I had to do it!! Something inside me couldn't stay quiet, and many thousands of people gratefully began to follow my Astro Updates during the time the world was in lockdown.
I found the courage to share my honest opinion on how I perceived everything that was going on in the world. I myself fell deep down the rabbit hole in pursuit of the truth about what values our society is secretly built upon. The population became divided and many were denounced as tin foil hats and conspiracy theorists. But I had a natural intuitive sharpness in delivering my raw messages, yet always flying just under the radar, so my channel wouldn't be shut down! All these years since then, I have received a stream of personal messages from people thanking me for being an anchor and a light in the darkness through a very difficult time of much anxiety and confusion.
In the years from 2020 to 2025, my life revolved around my service. I have produced an infinite number of hours of video, and a large community of like-minded people has emerged in Denmark, leaning into the ”Inner Truth” circle. For all these years, I have faithfully been ready on screen live at 7 AM on all new and full moon days, where between 500 and 800 people tune in to listen to my ceremonial moon meditation. I also started creating a closed members' forum in 2021, for those who wanted to get closer and be part of the inner circle online every single week. This evolved into becoming my primary work and my livelihood. I am very grateful for that. I am truly living my passion and my soul's calling!
Concurrently since my father's passing, I have continued to be called to hone my skills in Shamanic Breathwork. A tool and a tribe that has facilitated an immeasurable amount of my healing and conscious awakening over the years. I am now training to become the Danish satellite for Venus Rising. Soon, as one of the few in the world, I will be able to facilitate SHIP – the first part of the Shamanic Breathwork training, which also drastically changed my own life back in 2019. It feels like a soul calling and a great honour in my life to perform this work, which helps so many people towards radical healing and life-changing circumstances.
At the start of 2025, my life took another turn, drawing me deeply into yet another of the tough rides around the spiral. My mother's health took a rapid and serious turn at the age of 76, and she passed away in April 2025. This was a tremendously difficult internal process for me, as my entire life has always revolved around her health. A lifelong inner child's anxiety of losing her was activated, and at the same time, the experience of an immense liberation from life circumstances that have been very heavy!
I now stand alone in life with no support system. Both my parents have passed away, and at only 47 years old, I am the eldest woman in my lineage. Somehow, I probably always knew this was my destiny. Here I stand with extensive life experience gained through life's harsh trials, and I feel awake, conscious, and liberated on so many levels.
Life has truly taught me that the greatest mission we have on Earth is actually quite simple, but difficult to achieve. How do we heal our own nervous system and subconscious codings, so we can learn to LIVE rather than merely SURVIVE. It requires courage, perseverance, and willingness to look deep into our own darkness and our own pain, to unravel the inner ball of yarn that unconsciously holds us in old patterns that no longer serve us. As they say, we must learn to die many times before we actually have to die physically. Only then can we learn to LIVE.
Thank you for reading along and for being my witness on my life's journey
With love, Freyiia
